Games In Hand started life as Steam Deck Gaming back in March 2022 as a simple YouTube channel to help gamers get the most out of their Steam Deck for gaming and productivity shortly after the Steam Deck launch. With the Rise of the ROG Ally and now the Legion Go and other handhelds, our passion for handheld gaming devices has grown with our community and we took on a new journey.

We expanded to become Games In Hand Ltd, increasing our presence with a website and further socials, we’re proud to provide our users with comprehensive and high-quality content they can trust. Unfortunately a bunch of part time gamers and creators, we took on more than we could handle and it all became a bit too much.

 

Then, in November 2025, Valve announced the launch of the Steam Machine, Steam Frame and new Steam Controller, which re-ignited our passion for gaming and creation, so we re-focussed to just Valve hardware running Steam OS to continue with our core passion of Games In Hand with the Steam Deck and Steam Machine being the primary focus.

As fellow members of the gaming community, we’re committed to supporting gamers in every way we can.
